Tablet infotmic 1ghz android 2.3 manufacturers

The Infotmic 1GHz processor (often the IMAPX210 or IMAPX220 series) is a legacy ARM-based chipset. When sourcing, you must verify the RAM capacity, which is typically 256MB or 512MB DDR2; this significantly impacts the device's ability to run modern applications. The Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system is an older version, meaning the device is best suited for specific industrial tasks, basic media playback, or dedicated single-app functions rather than general-purpose modern computing.

Most tablets in this category utilize Resistive Touch screens rather than Capacitive ones. You should confirm if the screen supports Multi-touch or requires a stylus. For B2B applications, check the screen resolution (typically 800x480 for 7-inch models) and the backlight brightness (measured in nits) to ensure visibility in your intended usage scenario, such as a warehouse or a retail kiosk.

Electronic devices must meet strict regional standards. For the US market, FCC certification is mandatory to ensure electromagnetic compatibility. For the EU, CE marking and RoHS compliance (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) are required. Since these devices contain lithium batteries, you must ensure the supplier provides UN38.3 test reports and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for safe international transport.

Yes, because these tablets often use open-source Android 2.3, suppliers on Made-in-China.com can often provide Root access, custom boot animations, or pre-installed APKs. Hardware-wise, you can negotiate custom shell colors, logo silk-screening, and specialized I/O ports (like Mini-HDMI or Ethernet via adapter) if the order meets the supplier's Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), usually starting at 500-1000 units.

The biggest risk is Software Compatibility. Many modern apps on the Google Play Store no longer support Android 2.3. You should request a sample to test your specific software requirements before placing a bulk order. Additionally, Battery Degradation is a concern for older stock; ensure the supplier uses freshly manufactured battery cells rather than old inventory.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until delivery. To ensure quality, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). They will check for screen dead pixels, battery cycle life, and overall build quality to prevent receiving defective goods.

Shipping tablets requires compliance with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. It is recommended to use Sea Freight (LCL/FCL) for large volumes to reduce costs, ensuring the forwarder is experienced in handling Class 9 Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods. For smaller urgent batches, use Air Freight with 'Battery PI967' packaging standards to avoid customs delays or rejections.

Since the Infotmic 1GHz and Android 2.3 are older technologies, the component costs are significantly lower. You should push for volume-based discounts, aiming for a price point that reflects the legacy status of the hardware. Negotiate for 1-2% spare units (FOC - Free of Charge) to be included in the shipment to cover potential RMAs, as repairing these units locally may not be cost-effective.
