Reversing rear camera manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize AHD (Analog High Definition) technology over traditional CVBS for clearer 720p or 1080p resolution. Ensure the Image Sensor is a high-grade CMOS or CCD (like Sony IMX series) for superior low-light performance. A Wide Viewing Angle (140° to 170°) is essential to eliminate blind spots, but avoid 'fisheye' distortion that exceeds 180° as it can impair distance judgment.

The product must have an IP69K rating, which guarantees protection against high-pressure steam cleaning and total dust ingress. For compliance, ensure the supplier provides CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications. If selling in the US, FMVSS 111 compliance is mandatory for backup camera visibility standards. Additionally, verify the Operating Temperature range (-20°C to +70°C) to ensure functionality in extreme climates.

Wired systems are preferred for heavy-duty trucks and trailers due to zero signal interference and latency, though they require more labor-intensive installation. Digital Wireless systems (2.4GHz) are suitable for passenger cars and offer lower installation costs, but you must ensure they use encrypted digital signals to prevent flickering or interference from other electronic devices.

Look for cameras that support Dynamic Parking Guidelines, which move according to the steering wheel position. Compatibility with PAL/NTSC formats is vital for matching the buyer's existing monitor system. For commercial fleets, prioritize cameras with Night Vision (IR LEDs or Starlight sensors) and built-in microphones for audio-assisted reversing.

Implement a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on a Functionality Test (power-on, image clarity) and a Waterproof Vacuum Test. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass quality verification. Request a 1% to 2% spare parts allowance for cables and mounts to handle minor transit damages.

Negotiate based on Tiered Pricing (e.g., 500, 1000, and 5000 units) and request OEM/ODM customization such as private labeling or custom startup logos on the monitor. Ask for a 12 to 24-month warranty period, which is the industry standard for professional-grade automotive electronics, and clarify the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process for faulty units.

Ensure the supplier uses Anti-static packaging and EPE foam inserts to prevent vibration damage to the lens alignment. For international shipping, choose FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over the freight forwarder and insurance. If shipping to Europe or North America, ensure the HS Code (typically 8525.89) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays or incorrect duty applications.
