Peruvian hair manufacturers

Authentic Peruvian hair is prized for being thicker, coarser, and more durable than Brazilian or Indian hair. To verify quality, perform a burn test: real human hair will turn to ash and smell like burning protein, while synthetic fibers will melt into a hard bead and smell like plastic. Additionally, ensure the hair is Remy quality, meaning the cuticles are intact and aligned in the same direction to prevent tangling and matting over time.

Focus on the weight per bundle, which is typically 100g (3.5oz). Check the weft construction; look for double-wefted tracks to minimize shedding. For color, Grade 10A or higher is usually recommended for hair that needs to be bleached to #613 blonde without losing structural integrity. Ensure the supplier provides non-processed virgin hair if your clients require chemical-free products.

Buyers must ensure the hair has undergone professional sterilization and fumigation to eliminate pathogens or lice. Request a Fumigation Certificate and a Veterinary Health Certificate if required by your local customs. For the US and EU markets, verify that any dyes or processing chemicals used comply with REACH or local cosmetic safety regulations to avoid skin irritation for the end-user.

Peruvian hair is exceptionally resilient to heat and styling, often lasting 12 to 24 months with proper care. While the initial cost may be higher than synthetic or lower-grade human hair, the low replacement rate and high customer satisfaction levels provide a better Return on Investment (ROI) for boutique owners. Sourcing directly from verified manufacturers on Made-in-China.com can further reduce costs by cutting out middleman markups.

The most common risk is 'weight cheating' or mixing synthetic fillers. Always specify the net weight excluding packaging. Use Secure Payment services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after you confirm the goods meet the agreed-upon specifications. Requesting a pre-shipment video of the specific batch being weighed and measured is a highly effective deterrent against fraud.

Start by requesting a sample kit (e.g., one bundle of straight, wavy, and curly) at a sample price. Once quality is verified, negotiate based on volume tiers; for orders over 50kg, you should aim for a 15-20% discount off the list price. Discuss long-term partnership incentives, such as free branding/packaging design or priority production slots during peak seasons like Black Friday or Christmas.

Hair products are often subject to strict customs inspections regarding biological materials. Ensure the commercial invoice clearly states '100% Human Hair' and includes the correct HS Code (6704.20). For fast turnover, use express couriers like DHL or FedEx, which typically clear customs in 3-5 business days. Be aware of import duties and VAT, and factor these into your landed cost calculations to maintain your profit margins.

Always conduct business with Audited Suppliers who have verified manufacturing facilities. Utilize Trade Assurance or escrow-style payment systems to protect your capital. Avoid direct wire transfers to personal accounts; ensure the beneficiary name matches the company name on the business license. For large-scale enterprise orders, consider hiring a third-party inspection service to visit the factory in China before the final balance is paid.
