Lpg gas hose pipe manufacturers

When evaluating LPG gas hoses, you must prioritize safety and pressure resistance. Look for hoses with a multi-layer construction, typically consisting of an inner tube resistant to LPG, a high-tensile synthetic yarn reinforcement, and an outer cover resistant to ozone and weather. Ensure the working pressure (WP) is clearly stated (usually around 20 Bar / 300 PSI) and the burst pressure (BP) is at least three to four times the working pressure to prevent catastrophic failure.

Compliance is non-negotiable for gas products. You should verify that the supplier meets ISO 3821 (for rubber hoses used in welding and allied processes) or EN 16436-1 (for rubber and plastic hoses for use with propane and butane). For the North American market, look for UL 21 certification. Always request valid test reports and check for the CE mark if exporting to Europe to ensure the product meets health, safety, and environmental protection standards.

The material must be NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) or high-quality PVC/NBR blends to ensure resistance to the chemical degradation caused by liquefied petroleum gas. Ask the supplier for aging test results and low-temperature flexibility data (e.g., performance at -30°C) if the product will be used in cold climates. The outer cover should be flame retardant and abrasion-resistant to withstand harsh industrial or domestic environments.

A top-tier supplier on Made-in-China.com should offer OEM services, including custom branding/printing on the hose surface (brand name, standard, and date of manufacture). They should also provide options for different diameters (e.g., 6mm, 9mm, 13mm), various color codings (typically orange for LPG), and the ability to supply pre-assembled hoses with brass or stainless steel fittings to reduce your local assembly costs.

The biggest risk is substandard material substitution (using recycled rubber), which leads to cracking and gas leaks. To mitigate this, request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek. Additionally, ensure the production date is recent, as rubber has a shelf life; importing 'old stock' can lead to premature failure and legal liability in your home country.

Utilize the Secured Trading services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are shipped. When negotiating, link the final payment to the successful passing of a pressure test conducted during the inspection. Clearly define the Incoterms (e.g., FOB or CIF) in the contract to avoid disputes over shipping costs and insurance responsibilities.

LPG hoses are bulky and heavy. To optimize shipping costs, request compact coiling and high-density PE film wrapping to maximize container utilization. Ensure the supplier uses strong wooden pallets or crates for LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments to prevent the hoses from being crushed by heavier cargo. Always verify the HS Code (typically 4009 for rubber hoses) with your customs broker to confirm import duties and any specific anti-dumping regulations.
