Korean jacket manufacturers

For high-quality Korean jackets, prioritize high-density polyester blends or premium wool-mix fabrics to ensure the signature 'structured yet soft' silhouette. For casual styles, look for heavyweight cotton (300-400 GSM) to maintain shape. Ensure the supplier uses colorfastness grade 4 or higher to prevent fading, especially for popular neutral or pastel tones common in Korean fashion.

Korean fashion often utilizes an 'Oversized' or 'Loose-fit' aesthetic, which may differ significantly from Western standard sizing. You must request a detailed size chart including shoulder width, chest circumference, and sleeve length. It is highly recommended to convert Asian sizing to US/EU standards (e.g., an Asian XL often equates to a Western M) and request pre-shipment samples to verify the fit.

Ensure all jackets comply with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) regulations regarding lead content in zippers and buttons. For winter jackets, verify that any synthetic or down fillings meet local thermal insulation standards. All products must have permanent care labels indicating fiber content and country of origin in the destination country's language.

Look for reinforced stitching at stress points (armpits and pockets) and the use of YKK or high-grade local brand zippers. For trench coats or blazers, check for full inner linings and interlining in the collar to ensure the garment holds its shape after multiple dry cleanings or washes.

Always utilize Third-Party Inspection services (such as V-Trust or QIMA) before the final payment. Set a Quality Acceptance Limit (AQL) of 2.5 for major defects. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site factory verifications to ensure their production capacity matches your order volume.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Discuss MOQ flexibility for new designs—many suppliers will lower MOQs if you use stock fabrics. Request a tiered pricing structure where the unit price drops by 5-10% as volume increases beyond 500 or 1,000 units.

For seasonal fashion like jackets, use Sea-Air combined transport to balance cost and speed. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum packaging for padded or puffer jackets to reduce volumetric weight, which can lower shipping costs by up to 30-40%. Always clarify Incoterms; FOB (Free On Board) is generally preferred for buyers who have their own freight forwarders.

Use Secured Payment services provided by professional platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after you confirm receipt of goods. Avoid direct wire transfers to private bank accounts. Ensure the Proforma Invoice (PI) clearly states the lead time, material composition, and penalty clauses for late delivery.
