Howo tire manufacturers

When selecting tires for Howo trucks, you must prioritize Load Index and Speed Symbol to ensure they can handle the vehicle's gross weight. Look for all-steel radial construction (TBR) which provides superior heat dissipation and durability. Key sizes typically include 12.00R20 or 315/80R22.5. Ensure the ply rating (PR), usually 18PR or 20PR, matches your specific hauling requirements to prevent blowouts under heavy loads.

Reliable suppliers must provide international certifications such as DOT (US), ECE (Europe), GCC (Gulf States), and CCC (China). For African or Southeast Asian markets, ensure the tires have SONCAP or SNI certifications where applicable. Always request third-party inspection reports (e.g., SGS or Intertek) to verify tread depth consistency and rubber compound quality before the balance is paid.

For long-haul highway transport, choose rib patterns (steer axle) to reduce rolling resistance and improve fuel efficiency. For construction sites or mining areas, select lug or block patterns (drive axle) which offer high traction and puncture resistance. For mixed-road conditions, universal patterns are recommended to balance grip and tire life. Ensure the anti-aging properties of the rubber are optimized for the specific climate of the destination country.

Procuring in Full Container Loads (FCL), such as a 40HQ container, significantly reduces the landed cost per unit by optimizing shipping space. Buyers can often negotiate a 10-15% discount when ordering more than 500 units. Consider the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO); while premium brands have a higher initial price, their retreadability and lower CPK (Cost Per Kilometer) often provide better long-term value than ultra-low-cost alternatives.

Always verify the DOT production code on the sidewall to ensure the tires are newly manufactured (within the last 6-12 months). Avoid suppliers offering prices significantly below market average, as these may be regrooved or old-stock tires. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after successful quality verification.

Focus negotiations on warranty terms (e.g., 100,000km or 1 year) and claim procedures for manufacturing defects. Request free samples of inner tubes and flaps if purchasing tube-type tires. Establish a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% against BL copy) to maintain leverage throughout the production cycle.

Tires are bulky and heavy; ensure the supplier provides a professional loading plan to maximize container utilization without damaging the tire beads. Be aware of anti-dumping duties (ADD) that some countries (like the US or EU) impose on Chinese truck tires. Check your local customs tariff code (HS Code 4011.20) to calculate accurate import duties before finalizing the purchase.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone on-site factory inspections. Request a proforma invoice (PI) that clearly states the brand name, technical specs, and packaging requirements. Use Letter of Credit (L/C) for large-scale enterprise orders to provide the highest level of financial security for both parties.
