Framed wall art manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize high-definition Giclée printing on 300gsm+ archival canvas or acid-free paper to prevent yellowing. For frames, PS (Polystyrene) is cost-effective and lightweight for shipping, while aluminum alloy or solid wood (oak/pine) offers a premium feel. Ensure the glazing is shatterproof acrylic (plexiglass) rather than real glass to reduce breakage rates during cross-border transit.

Verify that the inks used are UL ECOLOGO or GREENGUARD Gold certified to ensure low chemical emissions. For wooden frames, request FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification to prove sustainable sourcing. If selling to the US, ensure compliance with California Proposition 65 regarding lead and phthalate content in frame coatings.

Focus on UV-resistant pigment inks that guarantee color stability for at least 10-20 years without fading. The backboard should be moisture-proof MDF to prevent warping in humid climates. Additionally, check for reinforced corner joints and the inclusion of heavy-duty hanging hardware (D-rings or sawtooth hangers) that are pre-installed for user convenience.

A top-tier supplier on Made-in-China.com should offer OEM/ODM services, including custom sizing, private labeling (logo printing on the back), and bespoke frame molding options. They should also be able to handle high-resolution image uploads and provide digital mock-ups for approval before mass production begins.

Request 'Mail Order Packaging' (drop-test passed), which typically includes reinforced plastic corner protectors, EPE foam wrapping, and 5-layer corrugated outer cartons. For large LCL shipments, insist on palletization with shrink wrap to prevent crushing and moisture ingress during sea freight.

Negotiate based on Total Landed Cost rather than just the unit price. Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 100, 500, 1000 units) and inquire if the supplier can provide free samples if the subsequent bulk order exceeds a certain value. Always clarify the lead time for peak seasons (Q4) to avoid stockouts.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payments. Before the final balance payment, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a random AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) inspection to check for printing defects, frame scratches, and color accuracy.

Ensure the supplier has the legal right or license to use the images provided. If you are providing your own designs, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a Non-Use/Non-Circumvention agreement to prevent the factory from selling your proprietary designs to other buyers.
