Filter air manufacturers

Selecting the right efficiency depends on the environment. For general HVAC, MERV 8 to MERV 13 is standard. For cleanrooms or medical facilities, you must specify HEPA (H13-H14) or ULPA (U15-U17) filters which capture 99.97% to 99.999% of particles at 0.3 microns. Always verify the CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) to ensure the filter can handle the specific air volume of your space.

The frame should be made of galvanized steel, aluminum alloy, or high-impact plastic to prevent bypass leakage. For the media, synthetic fibers offer moisture resistance, while glass fiber is superior for high-temperature or high-efficiency needs. If odor removal is required, ensure the filter includes activated carbon with a high CTC (Carbon Tetrachloride) adsorption value.

Ensure the products meet ISO 16890, which is the global standard for air filter testing, or EN 1822 for HEPA/ULPA filters. For the North American market, ASHRAE 52.2 certification is essential. Additionally, check for UL 900 flammability clearance to ensure the filters meet building fire safety codes.

Focus on the Initial Pressure Drop; a lower pressure drop reduces energy consumption of the HVAC fans, leading to significant long-term savings. Ask for Dust Holding Capacity (DHC) data—filters with higher DHC require less frequent replacements, reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

The biggest risk is physical deformation during transit, which creates gaps and renders the filter useless. You must mandate reinforced honeycomb cardboard packaging and corner protectors. Another risk is performance fraud; always demand a factory leak test report (DOP/PAO test) for HEPA filters before the balance payment is made.

Request OEM/ODM customization for dimensions, as standard sizes vary by country. Negotiate based on staged volume pricing—for example, a 10-15% discount for a full 20GP container. Use the Audit Reports available on Made-in-China.com to verify if the supplier is a genuine manufacturer or a middleman.

Air filters are 'light cargo' (high volume, low weight). To optimize costs, use sea freight for bulk orders and calculate the Volumetric Weight carefully. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to help you benefit from preferential tariffs under trade agreements like RCEP or specific bilateral treaties.

Utilize Secured Trading Services on the platform to protect your funds until delivery. For large batches, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a random pull-test and visual inspection at the factory before the goods are loaded into the container.
