Filing locker manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize Cold-Rolled Steel (SPCC) with a thickness of at least 0.6mm to 1.2mm to ensure structural integrity and anti-deformation properties. For high-durability environments, ensure the surface treatment uses Electrostatic Powder Coating, which provides superior corrosion resistance, scratch resistance, and eco-friendly VOC-free finishes compared to traditional spray painting.

Depending on the usage scenario, you should choose between mechanical key locks, digital electronic locks, or RFID smart locks. For high-security office environments, look for three-point locking systems that secure the door at the top, bottom, and side. Ensure the lock cylinders are made of zinc alloy or pure copper to prevent wear and technical picking.

For the North American market, look for BIFMA X5.9 standards which cover storage units' safety and durability. In the European market, EN 14073 and EN 14074 are critical for office furniture safety. Additionally, ensure the manufacturer holds ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) certifications to guarantee consistent production standards.

Knocked-Down (KD) structures are highly recommended for cross-border trade as they reduce shipping volume by up to 70%, significantly lowering freight costs. However, you must verify that the supplier provides clear assembly manuals or video tutorials and that the screw holes are precision-drilled to ensure easy onsite installation.

Request 5-layer corrugated export cartons with EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam corner protectors and edge guards. For bulk orders, insist on palletization with shrink wrap to prevent moisture ingress and handling damage. You should also consider Third-Party Inspection (TPI) before loading to verify packaging integrity.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on MOQ; for instance, a 20GP container usually yields a 15-20% discount compared to LCL (Less than Container Load) orders. Negotiate for spare parts (locks, keys, and hinges) to be included at a 1-2% ratio for free to handle future maintenance needs without additional shipping costs.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure payment is only released upon proof of shipment. Always verify the supplier's Audit Reports and 'Diamond Member' status to confirm their factory scale and export history. Avoid direct wire transfers to personal accounts.

The standard HS Code for steel office furniture is 9403.10. Check for Anti-Dumping Duties (ADD) in your specific country, as some regions impose high tariffs on Chinese steel furniture. Requesting a Certificate of Origin (CO) from the supplier can often help in claiming preferential tariff rates under specific trade agreements.
