Fence panel manufacturers

For coastal or high-humidity areas, prioritize Aluminum or Hot-Dipped Galvanized Steel with a powder coating (minimum 60-80 microns) to prevent corrosion. For residential aesthetics, WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) is ideal as it offers the look of wood with UV resistance and low maintenance. If sourcing steel, ensure the grade is at least Q235 or Q195 for structural integrity.

Buyers should ensure products meet ISO 9001 for manufacturing consistency. For specific markets, look for ASTM (USA) or EN 10223 (Europe) standards regarding steel wire and fencing. If the panels are for security purposes, verify anti-climb certifications and ensure the welding strength meets industrial load-bearing requirements.

Request a Salt Spray Test report (typically 500 to 1000 hours) to verify rust resistance. Ensure the supplier uses reputable coating brands like AkzoNobel or Tiger for powder coating, which guarantees colorfastness and resistance to cracking under extreme temperature fluctuations.

Confirm the center-to-center distance of the posts and the locking mechanism (e.g., spider clips, bolts, or slide-in grooves). For modular projects, request CAD drawings to ensure the panels, posts, and gates are perfectly aligned. Check if the supplier provides pre-drilled holes to reduce on-site labor costs.

Fence panels are prone to bending and scratches. Insist on metal or wooden pallets with protective film between each panel and corner protectors. For bulk orders, use steel strapping to secure the load. It is highly recommended to use Made-in-China.com's inspection services to verify packing quality before the container is sealed.

Focus on Total Linear Meter (LM) pricing rather than just unit price. Negotiate based on raw material weight (steel/aluminum market rates) to ensure transparency. For long-term partnerships, request a price lock agreement for 3-6 months to hedge against fluctuating metal prices, and ask for 2-5% extra hardware/fasteners to be included free of charge.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the Bill of Lading is issued. Before placing a large order, request a production sample to test the actual wire gauge and coating thickness using a micrometer and ultrasonic thickness gauge.

Fence panels are heavy and bulky, often requiring High Cube (HC) containers to maximize vertical space. Verify the Incoterms clearly; FOB (Free on Board) is generally preferred for buyers with their own freight forwarders to better control costs. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed packing list that matches the customs HS Code (typically 7314 for steel mesh or 7610 for aluminum structures) to avoid clearance delays.
