Exchange rate display board manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize LED brightness and visibility, ensuring the digits are legible from at least 20-30 meters for indoor bank lobbies. The digit height (typically 1.0 to 4.0 inches) and color options (Red, Green, or Amber) should align with the installation environment. Additionally, verify the communication interface, such as RS232, RS485, TCP/IP (LAN), or Wi-Fi, to ensure seamless integration with the bank's central data system.

It is critical to confirm the input voltage range (e.g., AC 110V-240V) to match the destination country's power grid. For data, ensure the software supports multi-language character sets (Arabic, French, Spanish, etc.) and allows for remote updates via PC or Mobile App. Look for boards that include a battery backup for memory, so exchange rates are not lost during power outages.

To ensure safety and market entry, the product must hold CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications. These guarantee that the electronic components meet electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and do not contain hazardous substances. For high-end projects, sourcing from suppliers with ISO 9001 certified factories ensures consistent manufacturing quality and lower failure rates.

Yes, professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. This includes printing the bank's logo (Silk-screen printing), customizing the number of rows and columns (e.g., 6 rows for major currencies), and adding scrolling LED tickers at the bottom for promotional messages or news updates.

Electronic displays are fragile. You must insist on export-standard packaging, which includes thick EPE foam protection and sturdy plywood crates (rather than simple cartons) for bulk shipments. Requesting a drop test report from the supplier before dispatch can significantly reduce the risk of receiving cracked LED panels.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a 2-3 year warranty and ask for 1-2% spare parts (such as LED modules and power supply units) to be included in the shipment. For large orders, use Milestone Payments (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% after successful third-party inspection) to ensure quality control.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Check their transaction history and buyer reviews specifically regarding technical support. A reliable supplier should provide a detailed user manual and video tutorials for software configuration.

Ensure the supplier provides the correct HS Code (typically 853120) to avoid tariff misclassification. For urgent projects, Air Freight is recommended to prevent long-term exposure to sea salt air, which can cause corrosion on electronic circuits. Always clarify the Incoterms (e.g., FOB or DAP) to understand exactly where your liability for insurance and local taxes begins.
