Safety is the highest priority in this category. You must ensure products are made from medical-grade silicone, which is non-porous and hypoallergenic. Avoid materials containing phthalates or heavy metals. Request ROHS and REACH compliance certificates from the supplier to ensure the chemical composition meets international safety standards for skin-contact items.

For electronic models, focus on the motor quality and noise level (ideally below 50dB). Verify the IPX7 waterproof rating if the product is intended for use in water. Additionally, check the battery capacity (mAh) and charging method; magnetic USB charging is currently the industry standard for high-end durability and hygiene.

Look for seamless molding technology to prevent bacteria buildup in cracks. The Shore hardness (durometer) should be specified; a rating of 20A to 30A typically offers a realistic, lifelike feel. Ensure the base is reinforced for stability and that the surface has a silky-smooth finish achieved through high-quality oil-injection processes.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. For B2B buyers, discreet packaging is a standard requirement. You should negotiate custom color boxes or engraved logos, but be aware that this usually requires a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) of 500 to 1,000 units.

Customs regulations for adult products vary significantly by country. Some regions have strict decency laws or specific medical device classifications. Always verify the HS Code (typically 3926.90 or 9019.10) with your local customs broker to ensure the items are not prohibited and to determine the correct import duties.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are received. It is highly recommended to hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to check for defects, odor, and functional consistency before the balance is paid.

Due to the sensitive nature of the products, discreet billing and labeling are essential. For small batches, Air Express (DHL/FedEx) is fast but expensive. For bulk orders, Sea Freight is most cost-effective. Ensure the bill of lading uses neutral descriptions like 'Silicone Crafts' or 'Massager' to facilitate smoother customs clearance.

Establish a clear Defective Goods Agreement before placing the order. Professional suppliers should offer a 1% to 2% spare parts allowance or a 1-year warranty where defective units are replaced in the next shipment. Always request a video proof of malfunction for any claims to expedite the process.
