Bridal wedding dresses manufacturers

When sourcing bridal wear, prioritize fabrics like Mulberry silk, high-density bridal satin (395 satin), and soft Swiss tulle. Ensure the lace is neatly trimmed without loose threads, and check for multi-layer construction (usually 3-7 layers) to provide the necessary volume. For structural integrity, verify the use of 10-12 high-quality plastic or steel bones in the bodice to ensure a perfect fit and support.

Bridal sizing varies significantly between regions. You should request a detailed size chart (US, UK, and EU standards) and confirm if the supplier offers custom-made services (MTM - Made to Measure). To reduce alteration costs, look for dresses with lace-up (corset) backs, which provide a flexible fit range of 2-5cm, making them easier to sell to diverse body types.

Ensure the products comply with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) regulations, specifically regarding lead content in zippers and beads, and the use of non-toxic dyes (Azo-free). For gowns with heavy embellishments, verify that beads and sequins are securely sewn rather than glued to prevent choking hazards and ensure durability during dry cleaning.

To prevent yellowing and wrinkling during long-distance shipping, suppliers should use acid-free tissue paper and breathable non-woven garment bags. For high-volume orders, request vacuum packaging to save on freight costs, but ensure the supplier provides instructions on professional steaming to restore the gown's shape upon arrival.

Always request a pre-shipment video of the actual finished product, not just stock photos. For bulk orders, it is highly recommended to order a sample first to verify the beading craftsmanship and fabric weight. Using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service can provide an extra layer of protection by ensuring payment is only released after quality confirmation.

Focus on MOQ flexibility rather than just the lowest price. Many top-tier manufacturers on Made-in-China.com allow for mixed-style orders (e.g., 5 different designs to meet a 10-piece MOQ). Negotiate for extra lace appliques and matching veils to be included, which adds significant retail value at a low cost to the manufacturer.

Choose Air Freight or Express (DHL/FedEx) for high-value gowns to minimize transit time and humidity exposure. Ensure the HS Code (typically 6204.42 for cotton or 6204.43 for synthetic fibers) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays. For large shipments, consider FOB terms to maintain better control over your logistics costs and insurance.

Look for Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone third-party inspections by SGS or Bureau Veritas. Check their production capacity (e.g., monthly output of 3,000+ pieces) and their history of exporting to your target market, as this indicates familiarity with local quality preferences and bridal trends.
