Bleach sword manufacturers

Buyers must distinguish between Carbon Steel (1045/1060), which offers a realistic weight and finish, and Stainless Steel, which is more corrosion-resistant but brittle. For high-end collectors, Hand-Forged T10 Steel with a real hamon (temper line) is preferred. For cosplay-focused markets, PU (Polyurethane) or Bamboo versions are essential to meet convention safety regulations and reduce shipping costs.

Verify the Tsuba (handguard) design and Tsuka-ito (handle wrapping) color against official character references. Ensure the Saya (scabbard) is made of hardwood with a high-gloss lacquer finish or matte finish as per the anime source. Request high-resolution photos of the tang (Nakago) to ensure the blade is Full Tang if the product is marketed as a functional practice sword.

Products must comply with the Weapons Act of the destination country. For the US, ensure they are classified as 'Wall Hangers' or 'Collectibles'. In the UK and EU, check for regulations regarding curved blades (Samurai sword ban); often, only swords made with traditional methods or those with a blunt edge are legal for import. Always ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Decorative Purpose.

Look for Double Mekugi (bamboo pegs) in the handle for structural security. The Habaki (blade collar) should be made of pure brass rather than zinc alloy for better fit. For 'Zangetsu' replicas, ensure the oversized dimensions do not compromise the balance point (POB), which should ideally be 4-6 inches from the guard for handling.

Swords are often flagged as 'restricted items'. You should instruct the supplier to clearly label the HTS code as 9307.00 (Swords, cutlasses, bayonets) and include a 'Dull Blade' declaration. Avoid using terms like 'weapon' on commercial invoices; instead, use 'Handicraft' or 'Home Decoration'. For large orders, use Sea Freight (LCL) as air couriers like DHL/FedEx have strict internal policies against carrying sword-like objects.

Focus on MOQ flexibility for different character models. Since Bleach has many characters, ask for a mixed-batch order (e.g., 5 units of 10 different designs) to test market demand. Negotiate for customized packaging (double-layered corrugated boxes with foam inserts) to prevent tip breakage during transit, which is the most common cause of disputes.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after delivery confirmation. Hire a third-party inspection service to perform a drop test on the packaging and a magnet test to verify steel quality before the final balance is paid. Ensure the supplier is a 'Diamond Member' or 'Audited Supplier' to minimize the risk of receiving sub-par 'zinc alloy' toys instead of steel replicas.
