I have found results from4000+products and1000+suppliers aboutBattery light
When evaluating battery lights, prioritize Lumen Output (brightness) and Battery Capacity (mAh) to ensure the runtime meets your specific usage scenarios. For professional applications, look for Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, which offer a longer lifespan and better thermal stability than standard Li-ion. Additionally, verify the IP Rating (e.g., IP65 or IP67) if the lights are intended for outdoor or humid environments to ensure water and dust resistance.
Compliance is critical for market entry. Ensure the products carry CE (EMC & LVD) for the European market and FCC for the United States. Since these products contain batteries, they must have UN38.3 certification for safe transport and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) reports. For the UK market, UKCA marking is now required. Always ask for RoHS certification to ensure the absence of hazardous substances in the electronic components.
Calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by factoring in the battery cycle life (e.g., 500 vs. 2000 cycles). A cheaper unit with a low-quality battery will lead to higher replacement costs. Seek suppliers on Made-in-China.com who offer tiered pricing; typically, a volume increase of 500+ units can reduce the unit price by 15-20%. Also, confirm if the LED chips are from reputable brands like Cree or Osram, as this affects energy efficiency and maintenance frequency.
Modern buyers are looking for Smart Integration, such as Bluetooth or Zigbee app control and PIR motion sensors for energy saving. USB-C Fast Charging capability is becoming a standard requirement, replacing older Micro-USB ports. For emergency or industrial lighting, magnetic bases and 360-degree rotatable hooks are highly valued for their versatility in hands-free operation.
Batteries are classified as Dangerous Goods (DG). Shipping via air is strictly regulated and more expensive. To mitigate risks, ensure the supplier provides proper DG packaging and uses carriers experienced in handling Class 9 hazardous materials. For large orders, sea freight is more economical but requires the batteries to be at a specific State of Charge (SoC), usually below 30%, to comply with safety regulations.
Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are received and verified. Always request a Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek to check the battery performance and safety circuits before the final balance is paid. This prevents the risk of receiving sub-standard or non-compliant goods.
Focus your negotiation on Warranty Terms and Component Transparency. Demand a minimum 2-year warranty on the battery and 5 years on the LED housing. Negotiate for 1-2% spare units to be included in the shipment to cover potential DOA (Dead on Arrival) cases. If you are a repeat buyer, leverage your forecasted annual volume to secure a 'Locked-in' price against fluctuations in raw material costs like Lithium.
Be aware of Anti-dumping duties or specific tariffs (e.g., Section 301 in the US) that may apply to LED products from certain regions. Check the Harmonized System (HS) Code (typically 9405.42 for LED lamps) with your local customs broker to determine the exact duty rate. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to take advantage of any Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that might reduce import taxes.
