Arc lighter manufacturers

When evaluating Arc Lighters (plasma lighters), focus on battery capacity (mAh), typically ranging from 220mAh to 300mAh, which should provide 50 to 100 ignitions per charge. Ensure the device utilizes a high-quality lithium-polymer battery with an integrated protection circuit board (PCB) to prevent overcharging and overheating. The electrode material should be heat-resistant ceramic or high-grade zinc alloy to ensure a stable plasma arc and longevity of the ignition point.

As electronic devices with lithium batteries, Arc Lighters must meet UN38.3 standards for safe air/sea transport. For the US market, FCC certification is required, while the EU market necessitates CE (EMC & LVD) and RoHS compliance to ensure electromagnetic compatibility and chemical safety. Additionally, look for products with a safety lock feature or a 7-second automatic shut-off mechanism to prevent accidental ignition and meet child safety regulations.

Request a cycle life test report for the battery and an ignition frequency test for the transformer. A professional supplier should provide evidence that the arc can withstand high wind speeds (windproof testing) and function in high-altitude conditions. For outdoor or BBQ models, verify the IPX rating (e.g., IP56) if the product is marketed as waterproof. Always ask for MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) to confirm the safety of the internal components.

Top-tier suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer laser engraving for logos, custom CMYK packaging, and various surface finishes such as PVD vacuum plating, matte frosting, or rubberized paint. For functional ODM, inquire about flexible neck lengths for candle lighters or USB-C fast-charging integration, which is becoming the industry standard over older Micro-USB ports.

Arc Lighters contain lithium batteries, which are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. You must ensure the supplier provides a Certificate for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods. Failure to declare these correctly can lead to customs seizures or heavy fines. It is highly recommended to use freight forwarders experienced in battery-inclusive electronics to navigate the specific documentation required for sea or air freight.

Standard MOQs for custom logos usually start at 500–1,000 units. To optimize costs, negotiate based on tiered pricing; for instance, a volume of 5,000 units can often reduce the unit price by 15-20%. Always clarify if the quoted price includes USB charging cables and gift box packaging, as these are often hidden costs that can affect your final margin.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is held in escrow until the goods are shipped. Before final payment, hire a third-party inspection service to conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). This inspection should specifically check the battery charging stability, arc consistency, and shell finish quality to avoid receiving defective batches.

Check the HS Code (typically 961380) for your specific country to determine import duties. For example, US buyers should be aware of Section 301 tariffs on Chinese-made electronics. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin (CO), which may help in applying for preferential tariff rates under certain trade agreements.
