Hair extension remover manufacturers

B2B buyers should prioritize medical-grade solvents or organic oil-based formulas. For keratin bonds, alcohol-based or acetone-based solutions are common, while tape-ins require citrus-based or mineral oil removers to dissolve adhesives without damaging the hair cuticle. Ensure the product is paraben-free and sulfate-free to maintain scalp health. Compliance with MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and COA (Certificate of Analysis) is mandatory to verify chemical stability and safety for skin contact.

The choice depends on the bonding agent. For Tape-in Extensions, look for fast-acting citrus oils that neutralize stickiness instantly. For Keratin/U-Tip Extensions, a high-viscosity gel remover is preferred as it stays on the bond without dripping into the client's eyes. For Cold Fusion or Micro-bead methods, a lubricating oil-based remover helps the beads slide off smoothly without mechanical breakage of the natural hair.

Efficiency in a salon setting is driven by the applicator. Seek suppliers offering precision nozzle tips or spray atomizers to prevent product wastage. Leak-proof sealing is critical for international shipping. For retail-ready brands, customized private labeling (OEM) with clear multilingual usage instructions and UV-protected bottles (to prevent chemical degradation) adds significant market value.

A high-quality professional remover should have a reaction time of 30 to 60 seconds. It must demonstrate zero-residue performance, meaning the adhesive should peel away cleanly without leaving a gummy texture on the natural hair. Buyers should request evaporation rate data; a remover that evaporates too quickly may require multiple applications, increasing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Since many removers contain flammable ingredients (like alcohol or citrus oils), they are classified as Class 3 Flammable Liquids or Dangerous Goods (DG). You must ensure the supplier provides a UN38.3 Test Report and Identification and Classification Report for Air/Sea Transport of Goods. Using a freight forwarder experienced in DG handling is essential to avoid customs seizures or heavy fines.

Focus on Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Check for ISO 22716 (GMP for Cosmetics) certification. Before placing a bulk order, always request a pre-shipment sample and conduct a patch test to ensure the formula does not cause allergic reactions, which protects you from liability claims.

For chemical products, unit prices drop significantly with volume. Negotiate based on concentration levels—some low-cost suppliers dilute formulas. Aim for a tiered pricing structure (e.g., 500, 1000, and 5000 units). If you are a startup, look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com that offer low MOQ for neutral packaging while allowing for custom stickers to reduce initial investment risks.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by the platform to ensure payment is only released upon proof of shipment. Ensure the HS Code (typically 330590 or 381400) is correctly declared to match your country's import tariffs and cosmetic regulations (such as FDA for the US or CPNP for the EU) to prevent clearance delays.
