2pg 400x250 roller crusher manufacturers

The 2PG 400x250 model typically refers to a double roller crusher with a roller diameter of 400mm and a roller width of 250mm. You must verify the maximum feed size (usually ≤25mm) and the adjustable discharge range (0.5mm - 8mm). Ensure the motor power aligns with your local voltage; standard configurations usually require 5.5kW x 2 or 7.5kW x 2 motors. Additionally, confirm the processing capacity, which should range between 2 to 10 tons per hour depending on material hardness.

The roller shell is the primary wear part. You should prioritize suppliers using High Manganese Steel (Mn13Cr2) or Chromium-Molybdenum alloy for the rollers. For high-hardness materials like quartz or river pebbles, request surfacing welding wear-resistant layers or tungsten carbide inserts to extend the service life by 2-3 times compared to standard carbon steel.

For international trade, the equipment must have a CE Certification for the European market or meet OSHA standards for the US. Ensure the machine includes overload protection devices (such as safety springs or hydraulic pressure systems) to prevent damage from unbreakable objects. The manufacturer should be ISO 9001 certified to guarantee consistent assembly quality and welding integrity.

The spring-loaded adjustment system is critical for controlling the granularity of the finished product. High-quality 2PG crushers use heavy-duty compression springs that maintain constant pressure. This ensures a uniform output size and provides a 'cushion' that allows non-crushable items (like tramp iron) to pass through without shattering the rollers or snapping the drive shaft.

Always request a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) video before final payment. For heavy machinery like the 2PG 400x250, you should hire a third-party inspection service (like SGS or Intertek) to verify the roller hardness (HRC levels) and motor brand. Using Made-in-China.com's secured payment services can also provide a layer of protection, ensuring funds are only released upon proof of shipment.

Due to its weight (approx. 1.2 to 1.8 tons), the crusher must be secured in a fumigated wooden crate or fixed to a steel skid for container loading. Ensure the supplier applies anti-rust oil to the rollers and exposed shafts, and wraps the unit in vacuum plastic film to prevent sea-salt corrosion during long-term maritime transit.

Negotiate a wear-parts package to be included in the initial container; this should include at least one extra set of roller shells and drive belts. Demand a 12-month warranty on core components (motor and bearings). Ensure the supplier provides English-language manuals and video installation guidance, as on-site technician visits are costly for small-scale equipment.

For buyers with their own logistics partners, FOB (Free On Board) is recommended to control shipping costs. However, if you are new to importing heavy machinery, CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) or DAP (Delivered at Place) may be safer, as the supplier handles the complexities of international transit and insurance until the goods reach your designated port or location.
